Welcome to the DFW Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship

We invite you to visit our Chapel and hope that you will find in this sanctuary of peace a deeper inspiration and inner guidance for your life’s journey to God.

We have been serving devoted families and friends of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), who come from every corner of the DFW Metroplex, since 1972.

SRF is a worldwide religious movement which was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda who said, “The prime purpose of SRF Temples and Centers is to  bring devotees together to seek God.”

I found out that there was a small SRF Group in Dallas. Meditating in a Group is so helpful because of a shared peace and a feeling of oneness with God and other souls.

Attending Group meditations is like recharging the battery. It is a privilege to be a part of this wonderful SRF Group.

I have been a member of this group for 19 years. When you enter the facility you immediately feel a calmness. If you are looking for a way to experience peaceful worship, this is the place for you.

Every time I attend any activity at the DFW Meditation Group; a Group Meditation, Reading Service, or even a Social, it is always an extremely joyful and uplifting experience.

In some ways, meditating with others is easier than meditating alone. The presence of other meditators helps me remember to stay still and concentrate.

“Most of all I emphasize that you should get busy seeking God through meditation….Just beneath the shadows of this life is His wondrous Light. The universe is a vast temple of His presence. When you meditate, you will find doors opening to Him everywhere. When you have communion with Him, not all the ravages of the world can take away that Joy and Peace.”
